Silocentrale
Silocentrale is a co-operative company with activities in the agro-alimentary
field. Silocentrale is a member of the CEPAL group (Grand Duchy of Luxemburg).
The Silocentrale's activities are divided into 3 departments:

The Silocentrale Seeds Station is at the origin of any regional cereal production:
while working in close cooperation with the Seeds Producer's Trade union of
Clervaux, Silocentrale supports the indigenous quality seeds production and
carries out the reception, the conditioning and the individualized storage
in batches according to the producer, the variety and the germ capacity, thus
allowing to answer increasingly diversified requests.

Silocentrale intervenes in an active way in the cereal valorization with the
soil thanks to its drying and conditioning installations and its immense storage
capacity (45 000 metric tons), Silocentrale is able to preserve and even increase
the quality of the cereals delivered. A separated storage according to quality,
perfect traceability as well as a rigorous quality control with all the conditioning
stages make possible to provide cereals meeting the strict needs for different
outlets: flour-millings, breweries, feedstuffs. Since late 2002, the storage
bins are GMP certified (good manufacturing practices).
Animal nutrition Dpt
Silocentrale produces a complete range of food made up of quality covering
all stages of nutrition and based primarily on the cereal incorporation. Safety
by quality is a constant concern for Silocentrale. This also shows the significant
efforts invested in various quality stages such as GMP certification and HACCP.

Acting with other trnsformation companies which belong to the CEPAL group,
such as the Bissen's mills, Zeimet Bakeries & sons and the retailers organization
CentralMarketing s.àr.l., Silocentrale manages to intervene at all the levels
of the cereal, from the seeds production to the finished product marketing.
This is why the company is well placed to develop a traceability project which
overhangs various operators.
