Engineer in Agriculture, he took his doctorate degree in applied statistics especially in the study of the experimental variability in data from field trials.
He is head of a research unit dealing with biometry, data handling and agro-meteorology. He is mainly involved in the statistical treatment of agronomic data and studies the relationship between the development of the crops and the pedo-climatic situation.
He is also in charge of the management of huge databases produced by the 9 different laboratories of the REQUASUD network. In this context, he is responsible for ring tests in order to fulfil repeatability requirements.
He has the responsibility of the conception and management of the WEB site of CRAGx.
He is also an active member of the statistic group (E201) within the International Dairy Federation (FIL-IDF).
